AIR Institute researchers are at the Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC), the largest and most influential event for the connectivity ecosystem, where every year the world's leading companies, international governments and technology companies participate, making it a great opportunity to showcase innovative ideas. 

AIR Institute features among the 159 organisations listed in the catalogue, which operate in fields such as artificial intelligence, the internet of things, graphic design and marketing.

The Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE), in collaboration with Air Institute, is organising a conference on "Technological training for startups and SMEs: artificial intelligence and cybersecurity for your company", within the framework of the Centr@tec programme.

This week we have had the opportunity to welcome representatives of the Johannes Kepler University of Linz (Austria) at the AIR Institute facilities in Salamanca, during their visit to the city to complete their process of incorporation into the EC2U alliance of universities. 

The initiative, directed by Professor Juan Manuel Corchado, has a budget of 2.1 million euros.

Attendees were able to learn about the technological tools used for daily work at the IoT and Artificial Intelligence Centre.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a powerful ally in the study and conservation of biodiversity. This is the idea that AIR Institute is working with in the IA4Birds project, taking into account previous studies such as the one carried out by a team of researchers from Daffodil International University in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
