The AIR Institute is honoured to announce the II D. Santiago Ramón y Cajal Award and Artificial Intelligence, an initiative framed within the tribute "SALAMANCA: FOR CAJAL AND SCIENCE".

Over the past three years, the Farms4Climate project has spearheaded an innovative effort to develop digital tools for small-scale farmers, aimed at promoting sustainability and implementing carbon farming practices. 

In 2024, the AIR Institute, in collaboration with prominent European partners, achieved significant milestones that bring dAIEDGE closer to its goal of establishing the European Union as a global leader in data economy innovation and its applications.

This project, striving for sustainability in the agricultural sector, will benefit from new services, participate in a specialised training programme and present its work to international stakeholders.

Through roundtable discussions and practical case studies, the event highlighted the importance of knowledge transfer and public-private synergies in fostering technological and economic development.
